BACKGROUND

Dr. Goodman has been in private practice since 1997. Dr. Goodman earned her M.A. and Psy.D. degrees from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.  From 1996 to 1999 she served as Director of Family Services for the American Indian Health Service of Chicago. She was formerly affiliated with Hillside Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. 

Dr. Goodman has studied Constructive Living, Morita, Naikan, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, all based in Buddhist philosophy and practice.

Dr. Goodman currently sees clients at her Chelsea office in Manhattan. She is also available for Skype and phone coaching and consultation.
