"Therapy is the process of getting off the Merry-Go Round in life and looking at the horses we have been riding. Some of the horses have not been of our choosing and some have. Now, we are in the process of exploring those that may give us a more enjoyable experience".

Frederick "Fred" Stechmann, is a licensed psychologist and for the past 38 years has extensive experience in a variety of mental health settings. Fred is in private practice in Edina with Mark Koller MD. Fred's practice is primarily focused on three traditional modes of therapy- individual, couple, and group. In each modality, Fred provides a respectful and safe environment where individual thoughts and feelings are explored with the possibility of making alternative life decisions. .
