Dr. Ken Counts, PhD
Licensed Psychologist (Arkansas: 78-6p)

Overview
Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit my site. I am a psychologist that lives and practices in central Arkansas. This year I am entering my 30th year of practice and enjoy working with adolescents, adults, seniors and couples for evaluation and treatment.

I attended the University of Central Arkansas for my BS and MS degrees, both in Psychology. My PhD is from the University of Southern Mississippi in Counseling Psychology. I was fortunate to complete my internship in Clinical Psychology at Central Louisiana State Hospital, which was excellent and provided a wide variety of clinical experiences. Post-doctoral training in behavioral medicine was completed at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.

I have training in various forms of psychotherapy and offer short term as well as long term care. I also have a special interest in health and fitness and try to engage my patients in healthy life style changes such as diet, exercise and stress management. I have published several articles and one book, which can be reviewed at
www.bluedolphinpublishing.com/Counts.html

I am licensed by the state of Arkansas and a Diplomate of the American College of Forensic Examiners.

I have staff affiliation with the Baptist and St Vincent Health Systems.

I belong to the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine.
