Overview
Alexia Fisher is a former K-12 Educator with over 20 years experience working with adolescents and adults. Alexia is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and a registered Mediator with the Georgia Commission of Dispute Resolution.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)is a wonderful mode of therapy that helps most all people with emotional needs feel better almost immediately.. It is a hands on therapy that teaches tolerance skills when you are in distress, emotional regulation, how to be more mindful (which is very important) and how to be more effective in your communication skills with family, friends, co-workers etc.
Alexia graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with an Education Specialist/Psychology degree and from Georgia State University with a second Master's degree in Counseling.

Alexia can help you learn how to manage painful emotions, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment issues, relationship problems, traumas/crisis, grief, family conflicts etc.
All therapy offered is based on proven psychological theories to help you learn how to improve and enhance your life. Alexia states, "by learning emotional regulation skills & mindfulness everyone can be living a peaceful/satisfied life in spite of circumstances."
