Overview
I am a psychotherapist, licensed as a clinical social worker with over thirty five years experience in the helping professions. I have explored the mind-body connection since 1981. I use healing and recovery models of therapy that respect my clients' strength and potential. I believe that every individual finds meaning in their own unique way, so I practice a broad variety of creative short term solution focused methods as well as in depth long-term approaches. I am available to consult with psychiatric and medical providers when indicated.

My therapeutic expertise integrates decades of training and experience to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's strengths and goals. I am a proficient and non-judgmental therapist with respect and unconditional positive regard for anyone who seeks help for themselves or their children. I have a reputation for creating a safe and comfortable environment for adults and youth to entertain new possibilities and try out new behaviors.

I have twenty years experience helping adults, seniors, older adolescents and couples overcome problems with anxiety, depression, panic, addiction, grief, posttraumatic stress, and relationship difficulties.

Clients seeing me for therapy are generally in one of these three categories- People who are unhappy and know why. They have experienced loss, mistreatment, oppression, trauma, major illness, or other experiences that they identify as the source of their distress.

People who are unhappy and don’t know why. They may feel depressed, anxious, or dissatisfied with their lives and not know the reason.

People who feel okay and want to feel even better in order to live life more fully.

Therapy is not one size fits all. I honor my clients as unique, with their own history, culture, values, traditions, and beliefs.
