Dr. Andrew Hoffman, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist (Ohio: 2066)
When individuals or couples come to me, I work collaboratively with them as a coach. I help them learn to handle their personal issues more effectively, especially in their relationships, or if they are experiencing anxiety or depression. Through our work together, people are empowered to do more than weather an immediate crisis; they emerge with new ways of being. My clients learn how the language they use affects their moods, physical well-being and possibilities for future growth and change.
My approach helps people observe themselves and the world around them with new eyes. Because my clients become clearer about themselves, they have more freedom, and gain greater access to their strengths and creativity. Ultimately they become more effective in dealing with the world.
My compassionate and directive approach helps clients gain deeper insight and clarity. My innovative and problem solving approach focuses on need identification, solution strategies, assertive awareness, assertive communication for conflict resolution and to effect healing and change.
I offer a unique approach to personal and professional growth by combining both psychology and philosophy. I am an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
