Madeline Gleich, LCSW
Licensed Social Worker (New York: 013399)

Overview
Employing relational and cognitive techniques, I work with couples and individuals. I specialize in marriage/couple counseling, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress reduction and personality disorders. My graduate degree is from Columbia University. I have Post Graduate Certification in interpersonal psychotherapy and psychoanalysis as well as specialized training in the treatment of trauma.

My Individual Psychotherapy practice is based upon my belief that every person is unique. Therefore, my approach is always individualized. I focus on developing the most effective ways to address each person's needs and goals, and exploring circumstances, past and present, that could be interfering with their achievement.

Marriage and Couple Counseling works toward improving communication, helping each person understand and clarify their concerns and needs. Learning to listen to each other and seek alternative solutions is important for the future growth of the relationship. I seek to resolve present issues and develop negotiating techniques for the future
