Overview
The theraputic model I particularly like is the IFS (Internal Family Systems) model. It is a respectful, empowering and compassionate approach that promotes a more collaborative aproach to therapy. From a non-pathological framework, IFS believes we are all multidimensional, with parts of our personalities that operate to protect us, as well as parts that are burdensome and conflictual.IFS is respectful of all of our protective internal subpersonalities and aims to learn about them so they can be healed in an open-hearted way.
While I am a RESOLVE therapist with special interest and specific training in infertility issues and family building options, this is just one aspect of my private practive. I have been trained in mind/body techniques by Dr. Alice Domar at Harvard, am EMDR trained and use EFT(Emotinal Freedom Techniques).
