I will work with you, your partner, your teen or younger child to find solutions to the problems that confront us in life. Whether is stress and anxiety, depression, an eating disorder or difficulties with relationships or at work or school, I will participate actively to help tackle these challenges and the changes you may need to make to promote more joyous and successful living.

You will find a congenial, flexible, accepting and compassionate ally working in an inviting, sunny home office -- an emotionally safe atmosphere which allows for the unfolding of the deepest struggles and fears we all endure. I will encourage you to share dreams and fantasies, and I will use our relationship to access core emotional expeiences. I believe the past informs the present and is very worth exploring, but I will not ignore current dilemmas or crises in order to do so. Together we will discover solutions for specific issues, and I will offer concrete and constructive guidance tailored to you as an individual and based on 35 years experience in mental health services. If there is a need for adjunctive therapies, I will not hesitate recommending them.
