Prof. Ann M Lazaroff, M.A., LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Washington: LH00007714)

Overview
I have a Master's degree in Psychology and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am on faculty in the Graduate Programs in Psychology at Antioch University in Seattle. I work with adolescents and adults, in individual, group, couple, and family contexts, specializing in working with mood disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, family of origin issues, relationship issues, grief and loss, healing from sexual abuse, youth at risk, and gay and lesbian issues. My philosophy toward helping people is one of collaboration, cooperation, and respect for the client's own resources and ability to arrive at solutions to problems. Acknowledging that every individual is unique, I employ an integrative approach to therapy, with theoretical orientation dependent upon the needs of the client. This integrative approach includes the use of Rogerian, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, family systems, existential, and process oriented therapy.
