You need someone who is willing to explore alternatives and solutions with you in a calm respectful manner leaving you with the final decision. It's your life. You have to live it. Why let someone else make the decisions for you when all you really need is someone willing to listen, hear, and understand?

Psychotherapy is a partnership between the therapist and the client. The client sets the agenda, the therapist provides methods and together they discuss and explore alternatives to help the client achieve a more effective approach to life. Like any sort of partnership, the success or failure depends upon mutual effort.
