Sharon Nolting, M.A., C.S.W.
Social Work, Certified Masters (New York: 017032)

Overview
My approach to psychotherapy synthesizes holistic, humanistic, and analytic modes of understanding. I see each person as unique and as a whole, including mental/emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions, and address all aspects if indicated. The therapeutic relationship is a safe context for emotional healing and developing greater self-awareness. Releasing "old pain" to allow the natural growth process to proceed, changing dysfunctional patterns which block fulfillment, and empowering yourself through choice are steps toward becoming whole. Working with dreasms assists in reaching deeper levels in this process. I encourage the development of spiritual health, a deep sense of connectedness through the core of your being to the larger whole. More than twenty years' experience. Analytically trained in Interpersonal/Existential Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Board certified (BCD). Insurance reimbursement.
