Nina Miller, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist (New York: 013253)

Overview

The psychotherapy that I provide integrates theory and techniques from different approaches, primarily interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and existential therapies. It is supportive and collaborative in nature. It is a place for you to verbalize your feelings, clarify what you want in a given situation, and examine your current coping strategies. We work together to identify any relationship pitfalls; explore the influence of your history; address beliefs and thought patterns that are causing you pain or getting in your way; and consider different options that you have.

The clients I work with are committed to personal growth and understanding. Depending on your needs and objectives, the treatment may target depression, anxiety, abuse survivor issues, problems with relationships, self-esteem, or adjusting to life transitions. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment.
