ADDICTION - is a way of life in your own little world, which friends, family and co-workers don't understand. They don't understand the adrenaline rush from gambling, the calm serenity of alcohol, the sense of accomplishment from on-line gaming, the thrill of shopping, the numbing feeling of stuffing food, or the excitement of dangerous sex. They don't understand this way of life starts when you wake in the morning, not when you open the bottle, or log onto the internet, or enter the store, or climb into bed.


I understand that it can be very difficult to call and discuss dark secrets. I don't judge your past, your choices or you. Nothing you bring me will overwhelm me. I offer you a gentle hand to support you, a soft voice to encourage you, and a safe place for you to cry - or scream.
