Overview
Welcome to my practice. I have worked in clinical settings with children, adolescents, and families since 1995. I have trained and worked in hospital, residential, group-home, university, emergency room, and outpatient settings.

My educational and training background includes a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have specialized training and experience conducting psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and their families.

I have served as a school consultant in the Chicago area assisting teachers and students to decrease aggressive and bullying behaviors and to increase students readiness to learn. I have also worked with academically and behaviorally challenged students via the Chicago Public School Title 1 Academic Counseling program.

Practice-wise I utilize a developmental perspective which strongly informs my family systems and attachment-focused psychodynamic approach. Behavioral and cognitive-behavioral interventions are often incorporated in my clinical efforts in order to assist clients to reduce symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients, families, schools and other medical professionals.
