Overview
I specialize in working with women having trouble with relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, or life transitions. I work with individuals, couples and periodically have support groups. The therapy usually focuses on why it is we do what we do, intending to uncover unconscious behavior. Once we have an understanding of the underlying pull towards certain responses or actions, it is easier to change or accept our behaviors. Dreams and creative work are helpful in understanding our motives, while practical cognitive behavioral work is also helpful for indidiate symptom releif. The ultimate goal is individuation which means having an acceptance of our complete self.
