In his work as a private School Psychologist, Dr. Price applies a basic process when working with individuals and families. He determines cognitive strengths and areas in need of support/intervention. This diagnostic process will profile the learning styles of a child/adolescent. Dr. Price then offers counseling for students, parents, and families in understanding that particular child's/adolescent's abilities and develops a step-by-step plan for success in school and at home. This plan includes the development of compensatory strategies and personalized intervention models that provide skills and insights to allow the child/adolescent to reverse low academic performance at school. Dr. Price provides one-on-one educational therapy sessions that assist students with Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficits. Their purpose is to develop strengths and overcome specific areas in need of attention. Dr. Price also offers sessions for students to work in small social skills groups to improve social interaction with peers and family.
