Dr. Orsolya Hunyady, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist (New York: 017319)

Overview
I strongly believe that therapy is a collaborative effort and that its success largely depends on whether you feel comfortable opening up to me. I can offer you the warm, non-judgmental atmosphere that you will need to safely explore those feelings and concerns that you are unable to fully share with others in your life. I can also offer an active, engaged participation in the process of understanding what are the causes of your problems and what would lead to a considerable improvement in your situation.

I have been working with people from very diverse background in terms of culture, race, age, and socioeconomic status. I have extensive experience in addressing emotional issues around major life transitions such as the loss of a relationship, loss of a job, or immigration to the US. I often help patients who come in with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues such as difficulty with intimacy, with commitment or with maintaining a healthy degree of autonomy and separation in a relationship.
