Patricia McMahon, PsyD

Overview
My clients and I initially focus on what brings them to call me. Common issues include difficulties with friendships, work, love and family relationships -- uncomfortable emotional experiences such as depression, anxiety, anger, guilt or shame -- or sexual identity and partnering. I work with clients from all cultural, religious, ethnic, and educational backgrounds. When exploring loss and transition, clients and I often focus on more deeply understanding how current transitions and decisions can be impacted by earlier life experiences.
