Overview
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University, completed a clinical internship at the Seattle VA Medical Center, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in substance abuse treatment at the Seattle VA Center of Excellence for Substance Abuse Treatment & Education (CESATE). I am fully licensed in the state of Washington (license # 2380).

My therapeutic orientation is an integration of humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

I consider myself a generalist, but I do have specialized training in a number of areas, including:

• Substance Abuse and Dual-Disorders (co-occurring substance abuse & mental illness)
• Mood Disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder)
• Chronic Mental Illness (e.g., schizophrenia)
